Inclusive Circus Classes

What is Inclusive Circus?

Inclusive Circus is a flexible and engaging social circus program designed for people with disabilities. Sessions are built in collaboration with the organisations who know their participants best.

We partner with care providers, day programs, and specialist schools to deliver sessions that are:

  • Strength-based

  • Sensory-aware

  • Physically accessible

  • Participant-focused

Located at The Circus Spot in Pascoe Vale, our accessible venue is a hub for movement, creativity, and connection.

What’s in a session?

Every session is different, because every group is different. Depending on your group’s needs and goals, a session might include:

  • Aerials – hammocks, lyra, trapeze, silks

  • Balance activities – tightwire, rolla-bolla, obstacle course, balance/wobble boards

  • Object manipulation – juggling, hooping, spinning, tricksticks, creative games

  • Open play – for groups that prefer a sensory or self-led environment

  • Group activities – for those working on social and teamwork skills

You help set the energy, structure, and pace—we bring the circus magic.

  • Improved coordination & motor planning

  • Regulation through movement

  • Strength, balance, and body awareness

  • Social connection

  • Creative expression

  • Confidence through achievable challenges

Circus to suit every student…

Rather than running a one-size-fits-all program, we work with you to plan each session (or term). That means you’ll work directly with us to shape:

  • The session length (30–60 minutes)

  • Level of structure vs. play

  • Physical and sensory intensity

  • Preferred skills and props

  • Support needs and staffing ratios

  • Any specific NDIS or therapeutic goals

We’ll guide this process, or meet with you to plan together.

Customised Programs

We can also do, for an extra fee:

  • End-of-term skills showcase

  • Sensory-friendly session options

  • Photo books (with consent)

  • Custom reports to support NDIS goals

  • Staff PD for support workers on circus + disability inclusion and supporting participants through play

Anything Else?

Inclusive Circus is designed for:

  • People with intellectual, sensory, cognitive, and/or physical disabilities

  • Groups from day programs, schools, or community orgs

  • All ages and all support needs

  • Groups of 4–12 participants (customisable)

Note: Partner organisations must provide required support staff.
